Ginger February Recap
Ginger have had a busy couple of months in January and February and seen some lovely properties in Balsall Common, Solihull and surrounding areas. In fact, 75% of the houses listed have already been sold, generally within under a week of coming to the market. We had 2 properties that sold the day they were listed which really highlights the demand in this area.
Last week we launched an absolutely wonderful property on the very sought after Balsall Street East (Balsall Common). With six bedrooms including a whole master suite and a wealth of space, this one certainly ranks high on house goals!

This week we have been in Quinton Close, Hatton Park with a beautiful presented four bedroom detached property. Ample storage and family friendly this property will wow potential buyers.
Our best advice for March?
Of course we would encourage anyone thinking of moving to take the plunge and take advantage of a sellers market. Although we are in the grips of a cold snap things will warm up and ultimately more properties will start coming to the market. Our best advice would be to get ahead of the crowd, you’re in a far more favourable position to be taken seriously and make offers as a buyer if you’re on the market or even better, sold!
Spring clean
Spring is traditionally a time of year to have a big clean. This most likely relates back to when we would spend more time at home with the fires burning on cold nights causing living spaces to dirty easier, often people would wash their curtains to rid the smell of smoke and remove dust. We tend to throw open windows and notice dust particles floating around the house so what better time to get some fresh air in the house than a crisp March morning!
If you’re able to get the ground work in now then when you come to list your property it will be easier to do the things that will really prepare it to sell such as, fresh paint, outside planters or even an update to cushions and throws either way we’re on hand to support.
