- What is the age of the property?
- Has the property had any major repairs or improvements in the last few years?
- Are there any ongoing maintenance issues with the property?

- Are there any issues with damp, mold, or moisture in the property?
- How old are the windows and doors, and have they been replaced or updated recently?
- Is there an alarm system or other security features in the property?
- Are there any appliances included in the sale? If so, what is their condition?
- How efficient is the heating system (e.g., central heating, underfloor heating)?
- What is the energy efficiency rating of the property?
- Is the property insulated, and if so, how well?
- Are there any issues with the plumbing or water pressure?
- Is the property connected to gas, and when was the last gas safety check performed?

Obviously, some of these questions can be answered with a little research, but it’s important to ask them while viewing a property so you can make an informed decision.
